Installing it takes about two minutes
The app is not on the Google Play Store — Play refuses IPTV players that include a subscription — so it installs directly from here and then keeps itself up to date.
Fire TV Stick: allow unknown sources
Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → turn on "Install unknown apps" for the Downloader app. Amazon hides this on purpose; it is safe and reversible.
Open Downloader and type sportixmedia.it.com/fire
Downloader is free on the Amazon Appstore. That short address is all you need — no version number, no file name. It always resolves to the current Fire TV build, so it never goes out of date. On a phone or Android TV box use sportixmedia.it.com/tv instead.
Android TV, phone or tablet: just open the file
Download it in a browser and tap it. Android asks once whether to allow installs from that browser — allow it, then confirm.
Sign in with your Sportix account
The same email and password you used to buy. No playlist URL, no Xtream host, no username. On a trial, use the details we sent on WhatsApp.
Let it plan your week
Open it and it greets you with what to watch tonight and why. Ask for "something romantic" or "a short thriller" and it re-plans.

How it compares to TiviMate and IPTV Smarters
Those are good players and this table says so where it is true. The difference is what they are for: they are empty shells you point at a service you bought elsewhere. This is the service.
| Sportix Media app | TiviMate / IPTV Smarters / IBO | |
|---|---|---|
| Getting started | ✓ Sign in with your Sportix account. Nothing to paste. | Paste an M3U URL or type an Xtream host, username and password on a TV remote. |
| Subscription included | ✓ Yes — the app and the subscription are one thing. | No. The player is bought separately from the IPTV service. |
| Decides what to watch | ✓ AI plans the week from our catalogue and explains why it picked each thing. | Nothing. You browse. |
| Credentials on the device | ✓ Never. Playback URLs are minted server-side per request. | Panel credentials are stored on the device by design. |
| Updates | ✓ The app checks on launch and updates itself. | Varies — store updates where a store carries it, sideload where not. |
| Recording & catch-up UI | — Not yet. | ✓ TiviMate Premium has a mature recording and catch-up interface. |
| Works with any provider | — No — Sportix accounts only. | ✓ Yes, any M3U or Xtream source. |
| Multiple playlists at once | — No. | ✓ TiviMate and Smarters both handle several playlists. |

IPTV app questions
Is the Sportix Media app free?
The app is free to download and there is nothing to pay to install it. Watching needs a Sportix account: start with the free 6-hour trial, which asks for no payment details, then choose a plan to carry on. Plans run from £10 for one month to £75 for twelve.
Do I need to paste an M3U link or Xtream Codes login?
No. That is the main practical difference from a general-purpose player. You sign in with your Sportix account and the app fetches everything itself — no playlist URL, no host, no username to type on a remote. Panel credentials are never stored on the device; playback links are generated server-side per request.
Which download do I need for a Fire TV Stick?
The Fire TV Stick build — every Fire TV Stick, including Lite and 4K models, is 32-bit ARM (armeabi-v7a). Android TV boxes, Google TV devices, Nvidia Shield, phones and tablets from the last few years take the 64-bit build. Choosing the wrong one means Android refuses to install it; nothing breaks, so just install the other.
Why is it not on the Google Play Store?
IPTV players that ship with a subscription are routinely refused by Play, so the app is distributed directly from this site instead. That is why it updates itself: it checks for a new build on launch and offers it, rather than waiting on a store.
How do I install it on a Fire TV Stick?
Turn on installing from unknown sources for the Downloader app (Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options), open Downloader and type sportixmedia.it.com/fire — that is the whole address, and it always points at the current build. Downloader fetches the APK and starts the install. The full walkthrough with screenshots is in our Firestick setup guide.
Will it work on my Samsung or LG TV?
Not directly. Samsung runs Tizen and LG runs webOS, and neither installs Android APKs. Use a Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box plugged into the TV, or use Smart IPTV / an M3U player on the TV itself — our Smart TV guide covers that route.
How many devices can I use?
The app follows the connection count on your plan: one, two or three simultaneous streams. The app itself may be installed on as many devices as you like — only the number of streams playing at the same time is capped.
